Help... need suggestions

My mother in-law has been called to be a seminary teacher this year for her ward. She needs suggestions on ideas that she can do that will help the kids learn more, make seminary extra special, something that stands out, etc. Any of you that went to seminary... what did you love about seminary that you would suggestion to pass on?

My dad was a seminary teacher and one thing he liked to do was see if anyone could stump him. He is a scriptorian and so he has the game Jots and Tittles and that has scripture questions on them. I'm sure that you could find this at a Deseret book or something close to it, anyway... that was it was a fun way to learn something. Also, we always did "devotional" at the beginning of the class where one of the students gave a little spiritual thought, i.e. a movie, a song, a quote, etc.

One of my seminary teachers picked hymns or really well-known songs and we sang our scripture masteries to those tunes. I still remember them thanks to that little trick!
