I've concluded, hair cuts at home are messy and never turn out. But, if you had to do it at home, I'd say the sink is the way to go.

My boys' haircuts take about 3 days. :) First day is the major cut (as long as they'll last). The next two days are for finding spots I missed. :) But I usually do dry hair.
